PROJECT: Web Design & Development
BRIEF: Design and produce a standards-compliant multiple-page 800×600 website using Dreamweaver, including a sitemap, clear navigation system, UI/UX design and implementation, meta tags, consistency with fonts, graphics, color, and content.
SOLUTION: An eight-page website showcasing my own freelance graphics work, originally created for a web publishing class final project. The site contained four separate javascript sliders with a total of 68 slides, and the HTML/CSS successfully validated to WW3 standards. Using Dreamweaver (required for the assignment) to develop the site, I also tweaked things via hand-coding. Site graphics were created in Illustrator and modified in Photoshop. (The project earned the maximum possible points, and, I did get an A in the class, too!).
