Simply said, when you enjoy what you’re doing, you do it best...
Transforming bright ideas into functional realities has been my own delightful pursuit for over twenty-five years. Serving as a creative graphic design and production resource for a wide variety of project needs, I apply valuable experience in visual communication and project management towards cost-effective, results-driven solutions for both print and pixel.
The passion I’ve always had for print (and that sweet smell of fresh ink!) has naturally grown to embrace the joys of web design and production for pixels as well. Well-versed in areas complementary to visual communication, such as marketing strategies and analysis, social media, and PR campaigns, I’ve gained a keen sense of the bigger pictures necessary to successfully reach project goals.
Inspiration often comes from the magical life adventures that I’ve been fortunate to experience, most notably, sailing a small boat throughout the South Pacific for many years, and swimming there with mercifully-indifferent sharks. (See the story of those journeys at Shanachie Voyages, a website I also designed and developed). Between jobs, my own time is spent keeping up with the latest digital technologies, managing and producing all of the content on e-commerce website, PatentWear, and a determined pursuit of pine needle basketmaking (read all about that endeavor at nancymckeown.com).
Recently relocated from a longtime base in wonderfully eclectic Santa Cruz, California to my new home in Mariposa, known as the Gateway to Yosemite National Park, I am legally permitted to work in both the USA and New Zealand. I often successfully work remotely for clients, many of whom I’ve never met in person (ain’t cyberspace grand?!)—and can always be reached from anywhere via email.
Thanks for stopping by... I’d be happy to hear from you any time!
